BITA 3 is a plantain of average height ( 3,00 m to 3,50 m ) with a bunch producing on average 24 kg and fruit approximately 23 cm in length. The main trunk (the pseudo stem)  is vigorous and pinkish-green in colour with dark brown patches. The flavour and texture of the green fruit makes it suitable for all cooking methods.
