BITA 8 is a medium-size plantain (3,00 m to 3,50 m), with a a bunch of an average weight of 17 kg with approximately 23 cm in length. The main trunk (the pseudo stem) is vigorous and pinkish-green in colour with dark brown patches. The fruit is green and its flavour and texture is suitable for all types of cooking
