A new cooking variety, 0138, has been developed in East Africa; it has a short growth cycle, with a high dry matter content (30%) and a very high yield (23 t/ha); it also has dual resistance to African Cassava Virus (ACVM) and Cassava Brown Streak Virus (CBVS) which is commonly found in East Africa.
