TME B 419 is a new multi-resistant variety that is resistant to cassava diseases and pests, has a very high yield and starch content, and has a great culinary aptitude (pilability) which makes it the favorite variety in West Africa.

TME B 419, from Togo, is a variety that grow up straight ; it has a narrow green shiny leaf and grows to an average height of (4 m), with a light brown stalk. The tuber has white or light brown coloured  esh and a cream brown rind. The tuber has a medium neck. The inter-nodes are short(onaverage5,6cm)andthediameterof the stem is medium to large.

TME B 419 has a 12 month growth cycle.
